Aubree Marchione & Nick Scott – America’s #1 Wheelchair Dance Couple and representatives to the World Paralympic Wheelchair DanceSport Championships.
Aubree Marchione is a professional dancer who is trained in both International and American styles of dance. She specializes in wheelchair dancing and choreography for movies and television. She recently put her two strengths together to choreograph the theatrical feature film, Musical Chairs, which will hit theaters in March 2012.
Nick Scott is a professional wheelchair bodybuilder and an icon in the fitness industry. He is also a spokes model for multiple fitness companies. He was introduced to wheelchair dancing in 2009 when he met Aubree Marchione at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival.
Today, Nick and Aubree are the #1 wheelchair dance couple in America. They are the Atlantic Coast and Heart of America Dance Champions, and also the first couple to ever represent the United States of America in a World Paralympic Wheelchair Dancesport Championship. Nick and Aubree travel the country doing special performances and workshops to bring more awareness to wheelchair dancing.
A special attraction at the USA Dance Nationals this year will be the participation of Carrie Ann Inaba, celebrity judge on ABC-TV’s top-rated show “Dancing With The Stars,” who joins USA Dance not only as its Official Celebrity Ambassador beginning in 2012, but also as Honorary Judge at the USA Dance Nationals for the prestigious 3rd annual USA Dance Star Quality Awards on Friday and Saturday evenings.
